Project Overview

The Ethiopian Youth Environmental Awareness (EYEA) organization aims to empower young Ethiopians to become leaders in environmental stewardship. Our project, "Youth Environmental Leadership: Empowering Young Leaders to Drive Change," focuses on equipping youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle environmental challenges. Through leadership workshops, school-based eco-clubs, and community service projects, we foster a new generation of environmental advocates.

Key Objectives 

 Our primary objectives include developing leadership skills, promoting environmental awareness, and fostering community engagement. By equipping youth with the tools and knowledge to lead environmental initiatives, we aim to create a sustainable future driven by informed and passionate individuals.

 Core Components

 The core components of our project include leadership workshops, school-based eco-clubs, and community service projects. Leadership workshops cover topics such as environmental science, project management, and public speaking.

School-based eco-clubs provide platforms for students to engage in environmental activities, organizing events and campaigns that promote sustainability. Community service projects offer hands-on opportunities for young leaders to make a tangible impact, such as clean-up drives and tree planting.
